Participating Agencies

Outreach and Service Specialists (OSS) in the Mayor’s Office of Community Relations and Services (MOCRS) collaborate with the senior managers of DC government agencies, the DC Public School System, the Office of Tax and Revenue and the United States Attorney’s Office to develop strategies for solving chronic problems within neighborhoods through out the city.

Each participating agency assigns a representative to serve on a Ward Core Team that provides the government services needed in the ward. The mission of the core teams is to better coordinate the delivery of services and partner with the community to resolve problem areas in each ward.

The partnership between MOCRS and other DC government service agencies aims to designate resources, and to provide immediate resolutions to complex or District-wide problems that require support from senior agency managers.
